FoodCon, a conference that will focus on the intersection of Food, Sustainability, and Business, will be held at the The McColl Building and the adjacent Kenan Center on the campus of UNC on Friday, November 21st, 2014.
Hosted by the UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School in partnership with Duke’s Fuqua School of Business, the conference is open to students, faculty, professionals, and community members. Tickets are $15 for students and $30 for non-students.
Scott Nichols of Verlasso, a sustainable salmon farm in Patagonia, Chile, will deliver the opening keynote address, while Larry LeSeuer, the CEO of WISErg, a company dedicated to harvesting and converting food waste into fertilizer, will deliver a closing address.
